Description
As of HelenOS/amd64 0.7.2 hangs early during boot in VirtualBox after printing:
Detected 1 CPU(s), 2047 MiB free memory
On QEMU these versions work normally.
HelenOS 0.7.1 boots fine in VirtualBox,
VirtualBox version 5.2.8.

The problem seems to be that by default, HelenOS attempts to duplicate kernel output on the serial port, which is not enabled by default on VirtualBox. Building HelenOS without kernel serial port support or enabling serial port in VirtualBox provides a workaround for this issue.
