    55As such the document is considerably more extensive than the usual front-site summary. On the other hand it is not meant to be exhaustive (i.e. list all the changes), rather just focusing on the changes and issues visible and important to users.

    7 Ideally the release notes for each new release will be simply copied at the time of the release from ReleaseNotes/Trunk which will grow gradually and list the changes between the current trunk and the last official release.

After a release we start a fresh release notes document by copying it over from ReleaseNotes/Template.

     9Currently please help put together the release notes for the upcoming release, which is due soon. Also help devise the structure of the document (keep ReleaseNotes/Trunk and ReleaseNotes/Template in sync).
