Description
After the virtual consoles overhaul is finished, implement a simple proof-of-concept GUI which would show virtual consoles in a separate overlapping windows (similar to running multiple xterms on X11).

We now have a full graphical server which IMHO renders this ticket obsolete.

Do you mean a simple enhancement of the console server so that it would be able to show VCs in overlapping text windows, or a real graphical window server, which would allow you to run several console servers and other windowed applications?
